Using Microfine Powdered Scrub

In this clip I'm going to talk about a scrub that's a little different. Some people aren't aware of it. What this scrub is it's a microfine powder and it's made of a rise bran. So it's very fine and you don't even feel the granules. So what you want to do is take your hand, make a cup, and you're going to pour a little into the hand. Whoop, that's a bit too much. We're going to get rid of some of that because otherwise we're going to have a whole mess. What we're going to do now is just, I want to moisten my hand, and we're going to create a paste. You cannot even feel once the paste is made, the actual granules. And we just apply it to the skin and move in a circular motion. You always want to keep things in a circular movement. That's how you're going to get the smoothest finish. So I'm just applying gentle pressure. Is my pressure o.k., Lizzie? O.k. And she would be doing this at home normally. I'm certainly not going to come home with her everyday and wash her face. I think she can handle it herself, right? So she's just going to keep moving in circular motions and then also she can do a little zig zag. Feels good. Covers more ground. You definitely you want to make sure you get in the crevices of the nose. You want to exfoliate around the lip area. Because any fine lines, we want to smooth those out. And don't get too close to the eyes because that's when products get in the eye. And also the skin around the eye is so delicate that we want to be very gentle with it. If you're going to exfoliate, use the power exfoliant.
