Making a Honey Cucumber Eye Nourisher

Okay, so now we are going to do some take home treatments. Now one of the biggest things that women and men complain about is their eyes. It's always like a constant dryness or fine lines or crow's feet. So we want to talk about an at home mask that you can do that's going to help alleviate that problem. Now one of those is--I've created some recipes that you can do at home. And this one is the cucumber and honey eye nourisher. And what it is, it's just blended up cucumber, but you want to make sure you remove the skin and JR will show you. Okay, so no skin and then you also want to remove the seeds. So, no seeds and no skin. Those are your throwaways. And what you'll do is you'll blend that and then you can use a little bit of honey with that. The honey is really good. Use the honey bear. You could use just any type of honey. You just want to add a little honey to that. If you just want to mix that up for me. The other thing that you can add to that is aloe vera gel. That's optional. But, what the aloe vera does is it's real soothing and it really does help to sort of keep it more together. Now, do we add the aloe vera gel? And this is about what? About a teaspoon, a half teaspoon? That's about a tablespoon of aloe vera. You can tell how much I cook. Alright, so we put a tablespoon of aloe vera gel. And with the honey we put about, I'd say about two tablespoons of honey in. Maybe a little bit more. So, two tablespoons of honey, a tablespoon of aloe vera gel and then you're going to mix it up with your cucumbers that are already, you can chop them up in a blender, you can do it like me and you can do it by hand. And then you just want to blend it together until it's a nice consistency. Then you can add a little bit of green tea or chamomile tea to that as well. We have ours already made up. So we're just going to add just a few drops. And green tea is also a natural anti-oxidant, so that's going to help also with the darkness. And also inflammation. It helps take down inflammation. It's anti-inflammatory and it's great for sensitive skin. Alright, it's ready. So you just pat it on? Can we keep this in the refrigerator? Oh yeah, it's really nice in the refrigerator actually. It's very cooling. Okay I'm ready for my close-up now. We'll be back with more at home at the spa. Feels good.
