Add Big Flowers to a Floral Centerpiece

Hi! This is Diana for expertvillage.com. We have our mini carnations in the basket. Now, my second flower is going to be a yellow daisy. You can leave some in clusters or if the stems are long enough, you can cut single ones off. Make sure that your stems are long enough to go down into the oasis 2 or 3 inches so that they will be able to drink the water. I’m just going to put these in between where I already have the mini carnations, but I’m keeping the same shape all the way around. I’m cutting my stems off at an angle, which helps them poke into the oasis. Try not to poke in the flower stem and remove and poke it in and remove it. Your oasis will start getting crushed and then it won’t absorb the water anymore. We’re going to continue putting in our yellow flowers.
