Basketball Teamwork & Court Respect

Now, I would like to discuss general teamwork and on-court respect. Teamwork is very important, as far as, the fact that you interact with a lot of people. You might be on a team with a lot of other individuals who may call themselves a 'superstar', and they very well might be, but one thing, that is important to remember, is that it always takes a team effort in order to win the game. So, always have a sense of respect for teammates, as well as, yourself and also, your opponents. When you are on the court and you're competing, be it in a game or just in your neighborhood having fun, always have a sense of respect. This is not only for yourself and your teammates, but the people that you are playing against. Of course, everyone kind of indulges in 'trash talk' when it's fun or you are among peers. It's not always wise to 'trash talk', especially, when you are playing against people that you don't know. I've seen a lot of accidents happen that way, as far as, on-court brawls. You don't really want to find yourself in those positions. It is unhealthy for you, as a person. So, always maintain yourself, maintain your head and let your 'game' speak for itself. If you're a good player, then you won't have to 'trash talk'.
