Tools Needed for CV Joint Replacement

In this clip, we're going to talk about the proper service procedure in order to remove and replace a broken CV joint also known as a drive shaft on a front-wheel drive vehicle. In this step, we're going to talk about the tools required in order to remove and replace your CV shaft. What I have here in front of me is a pair of heavy duty jack stands, a hydraulic floor jack, a four way, a standard metric socket set, a cheater pipe and a CV nut socket. And of course a pickle fork for separating our lower ball joint from the spindle.
