Chopping the Onion for Smothered Pork Chops

Hi my name is Karl James and on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm sharing with you a quick and simple smother pork chop receipt. Now that we have our chops in the oven browning lets prepare our onions for later. We are going to cut the ends off cause we are going to peel it. Try to get the skin off and make a little sliver on the side that way we could fold it back. Prepare it for chopping. Now one way that I like to cut my onions is go on the side and just make small little cuts. Not all the way through, go vertical in the onion. After you do that make little horizontal slices through. Then as you chop you get your uniform pieces. Nice and simple and no crying. Then we have our onions.
