Tools Needed for Light Fixture Installation

Hi, this is Jon and in this clip, I'll be talking about the tools we used in our project. To remove the old light fixture, I used pliers to help loosen the screws and then I finished taking them out with screwdrivers. I also used a blade to cut around the old light fixture so we didn't tear out the drywall around the old light fixture. And then I used a pair of wire cutters to cut my old light fixture's wires so I could remove it out of the ceiling. To install my new, blue fixture box, I used a hammer with some nails to secure that in place. To install the mounting plate, you can either use a hand screwdriver or an electric drill with a screwdriver bit. Just be careful not to over tighten it. Some of the other tools that are essential are a wire stripping tool and a circuit tester.
