So we've hit a decent drive and we've ended up on this side hill lie and we've got to get to the green with this sand wedge. So you can see the ball is below my feet so if my normal stance, if I was at level ground, would be a lot like that, I've got to get down another four to six inches on this one. But I don't want to fall forward where I have a really weak looking swing so I have to align myself properly. I've got to sit in my hips a little bit, so I can lower the body yet still maintain the ability to take a full powerful swing. So this takes a little bit of practice to integrate all these steps but once you've done that, now you're ready to hit the ball. But because the ball is below my feet it's going to go from left to right. It's going to slice or fade to some degree. So I'm going to get in my swing position. I'm going to aim a little bit to the left of my target now because I have to account for that and I'm going to lose a little distance on this too. So if you would hit a sixty degree wedge use a sand wedge. If you'd use a sand wedge normally, use a pitching wedge. So take it at least to one more club. And so you get down in your stance. I've got good balance now because I'm almost like I'm sitting on a chair and I just take a nice easy take away. That ball faded perfectly at my target. So that's how you hit a short iron off a slice lie.
