Scoring Glass for Stained Glass Patterns

Now I want to show you another method. It's just basically, you lay your glass on top of your pattern. And where you find a piece of glass that you like, making sure that, you see with this textured glass I want this on the bottom, I want the softer side, it's a little textured but I want this on the top, it's easier to score. Unless there's a particular piece you want the texture on the top, then you would have to turn your pattern upside down and do it that way. But this is the way I want to use this piece. So, I have found the perfect piece of this glass that I want in a certain part of my butterfly, (well, if I can find it again, I think that's it right there). And so I'm going to lay it on here like this, and I am going to proceed to cut the part that I want. Now, I don't want to ruin the whole piece of glass because I still want to get another piece of this for over here, but I am going to, you always have to start at the edge of a glass, you can't just start where your pattern starts. So I need to come up this way, and score for each part of the piece. I'm putting quite a bit of pressure on here because you really need it. One more score line. Sometimes the glass is a little hard to see through. And then again, make sure you number your piece. Now I'm going to break the excess pieces off.
