News Room Attire

Now in this segment we're going to learn what the proper attire is for, for directing. Now pretty much what I have on you know just normal shirt, pants and shoes, obviously is going to be good attire. You do want to have shoes on. You don't want to have anything open heeled or open toe, just because in case you got to get moving real quick, you know you don't want to slip out of it or any, you know you can obviously hurt yourself. And also if you are a woman, you don't want to be wearing high heels cause they make a lot of noise and you don't want to have to try and run in them. Usually the best ideas are just going to be a normal gym shoe, comfortable sneaker, you know something that you feel comfortable in because it is a job where you are on your feet, and you do move. Now also with your shirt, you don't want to have anything too loose, like mine is a little too loose, nothing too bad, nothing that's going to hinder my movement back and forth with the camera, you know nothing that's going to get caught on my camera or anything like that. And also you don't want to have anything hanging out of your pockets like key chains or anything like that because obviously you know you're walking away from the camera it might catch it and spin the camera around. It has happened before and let me tell you, you do get yelled at for that one. But from there basically you know shorts or long pants both are you know acceptable as long as they're not baggy or in your way or hindering you from any of your movements.
