Now in this segment we're going to learn how to treat your anchors when they do have a mess on air. Now obviously everyone fumbles words and you know can't get a few words out correctly. But what you want to do if an anchor does that on air, you obviously don't want to start laughing at him or anything like that, cause that can bring their morale down, and then they'll start thinking about and screw up a little more. Because it is something that you know people do think about. Some people do get conscientious, see I can't even do it. But some people do think about it more than others and they do dwell on it a little more and it does bring their morale down. Now what you want to do is make sure that you know, you're always positive, upbeat. If you know their personality is if they screw up they don't want to say anything about it, don't say anything about it. If you know they want to talk about it, then go ahead and talk about it. Or if it was really that bad, you know just say ok come on we got to keep rolling, keep going, put it behind you, keep going with the show. Now there are times when other people other talent in the show is going to come in a little later than your current talents, so your sportscaster comes in a little later than the newscaster. Then sometimes they may even say, oh man you know you really fubbed up that word or you said it this way or something like that. That's usually something you want to keep out of the studio because like I was saying earlier, they can dwell on it and it can just lead to more problems. So you kind of want to talk with your anchors and all your on air talent, that way everyone's on the same page.
