Classical Guitar Thumb Tones

Now that we know a little bit about using I, M and A on the right hand. I’m going to talk a little bit about using P. Again, like the position I showed you before, you can just start by putting P on the low E string. I, M and A on the G, B and E and when you practice this do the same thing. Play and relax and let the finger come back to it’s original position. What you want to do is just lightly push through the string rapidly and then let it relax. What you can do to practice this is actually alternate the fingers or sorry the strings. And every time you do you want to use the shortest path possible back to the string which is a straight line, so you don’t want too much of this and you don’t want to hold it and then come around on it. You just want to move straight back to the string.
