Installing Software on a Macintosh

Hey it is Tony from expertvillage.com here and right now I'm going to kind of show you a little bit on how to install your software on your Macintosh Os X. First of all I already have it install but, I'm just going to go over the basics for you to show you how simple it is to install software on your Macintosh. I got photo shop right here and I'm going to take the CD out. I'm going to put it into the disc drive CD drive. You have to remember to that the eject button is on the keyboard itself. It is not on the computer anywhere it is actually on the keyboard which I think is a great feature. It makes it really easy. So as you could see right now my adobe photo shop has shown up on the desk top. Just like that boom on the desk top pretty simple. All you do is you double click it. You select install adobe photo shop CS. Pretty simple. The icon is right there you double click that and then it would open up the installation menu. There is always a password when you set up your Macintosh when you first open it and get it out of the box and register your name, and everything else to it. Its is going to come up with a password for your Mac to install software so nobody you know maybe you got a friend or family member you know you don't want to be touching your Mac and putting you know programs on there that you don't want so this is what the password is and you just give me a second I'm going to type in my password. So don't look. Okay I got everything set for the installation and it did except my password which is good so we are ready to go. So I'm not going to go in and reinstall this program I'm just going to kind of show you now what happens. So you know the agreement comes up and you hit except. Like so. Then it would ask you to type in your name and your company name and then a serial number which is on most program is located on the back of the CD or it you know on some type of card that comes with the software itself. So you just type in the software you hit next and you just follow the instruction and then boom you are ready install with software.
