Hi, in this clip, I'm going to show you how to nurse in a mai tai. This is a mai tai and this is by Picar Baby. And mai tais are really great because you can wear them on your front or on your back. When you're wearing a newborn, you want to give him a little bit of padding on the side and just be careful because there's a lot of room here. So make sure that the mai tai that you're wearing can accommodate a newborn, because not all can. But when you're nursing in a mai tai, an older baby, you just drop down the shoulder and lean your baby over to nurse. It's quite simple. Baby's just leaning over like that. When they are done nursing on this side, you just bring them back up to the middle, adjust your top and your bra back and then do the same thing on the other side. Just drop the shoulder down, move your baby over to the side, and nurse the baby on this side. When the baby is done, flip them up, put your bra and top back, bring your strap back up, burp the baby and if there's enough room, you can keep a little diaper cloth right behind the baby's head, which also gives them a little bit of additional support, and if the baby spits up, you can just wipe their mouth like that. So that is the mai tai. It's a great carrier for babies and easy to nurse in public as well.
