Hi, in this clip I'm going to show you how to nurse your baby in public wearing a baby wrap. This is the Baby K'tan, which I really like, because it's very, very easy to use. With your newborn, if you're carrying them around in this--and this is great too, if you have a toddler who's running around, chasing--you're chasing after them. If you're at the park, or nursery school, or somewhere, this is a great thing to use. So when you're ready to nurse your baby, you're going to drop down this shoulder, and bring the baby down closer to the breast on this side, move the side of your nursing top, or whatever top you're wearing, and nurse the baby here like this. It doesn't provide as much coverage as something like the Maya Wrap, or a ring sling, where you get the tail for coverage. But it does provide coverage down here, you're just a little bit exposed on the top. So once the baby's done on this side, you can pick him straight up, bring this side back up onto your shoulder, burp the baby, and then you're going to drop this side down. And just move the baby--there's a little bit more maneuvering of the baby on this side, and you know, just pull the baby over here, nurse on this side. Support their head, especially for the newborn that doesn't have head control yet, let them finish, bring them back up to the middle, put this shoulder back up. Spread it across your baby; make sure they're covered, and then burp your baby. Let them fall asleep, and you're good to go.
