Classical Guitar Performance
Alright, so that’s a pretty decent lesson in all the basics in guitar. I would suggest that if you really want to take classical guitar seriously that you contact your local college or music store who provides lessons or anyone who might teach privately and really take some lessons because a lot of this stuff is pretty hard to learn on your own. You can do a lot of it yourself, I’ve seen people do it but it would really be a lot faster and it’ll be a lot more gratifying if you really have somebody help you out with it. So what I’m going to do is just play something for you and what you can do is just check out some of those topics that I hit on. Note that my wrist doesn’t tend to bend to much far out; things like that. Note that my fingers are usually arched pretty well; my thumb is never wrapping around the neck or anything like that. I usually maintain pretty good posture; I try to relax my shoulders, just kind of play and enjoy playing and look like I enjoy playing. You also want to note that my hand isn’t going to move around too much in the right hand. My arm pretty much stays where it is except when I’m shifting; I’ll move up a little bit like this. And I don’t know, good luck. Hopefully you can really pick this up because it can be a very very enjoyable experience.
