Playing Slap & Press on African Drums

In this clip, we going to explain you how you play this drum, I mean the sound on this drum. Of course, we have the bell on that side and we have three sounds on this drum. One is the slap, we call it the slap, like this. And you let the stick get out the drum very fast, lift it and let it get out from your hand so it can produce a nice sound. The second is this one, they call it a press, the close sound. So, if you want to combine those two sounds, that's one kind of rhythm you can play on this drum. For the bell. That's the samba.
