The next clip is on How to Finance a Convention. If it's your first outing, it's going to be very hard to get financial backing. So be prepared at the outset for your first event to fund it yourself and consider that you probably going to end up with an expense of anywhere from Fifteen to Twenty five Thousand Dollars. You always have to keep that in the back of your head. Once you get established and hopefully after your first event you can get established, you really want to look your sources like your vendors to help fund it and sponsors. Don't take them for a lot of money, but try to get as many vendors and sponsors as possible. Your attendees are certainly going to contribute, but your attendees are not going to pre-register in great numbers, that's going to be money that you get at the door. So you want to try to get as much funding as possible upfront, and that again has to come from personal finance, it has to come from vendors who pre-buy tables and events space and it has to come from sponsors and sponsors may be able to get a table or fliers or give out material and advertising on your web space. But those are your main sources of revenue to fund your convention.
