Prosthetic Makeup: Applying Adhesive

Hi, this is Eva with Make Up Mania doing a basic prosthetic makeup. We have these special sponges for applying adhesive. It's called a German sponge. Just cut them, and I like, also, rounding them a little bit. So after I cut them, I'm going to go and just round all the edges off. That way I don't have these, kind of, funny edges. I have a rounded edge. We're going to dip into my adhesive, and I've outlined where it will go. So, I'm just going to put a little bit. With this adhesive, a little bit goes a long way. In fact, it's a contact adhesive, so once it touches another adhesive, it's an immediate contact so we have to be very careful with this. OKay, so we now have it on her nose. We're going to apply a little bit of the adhesive to the inside of the prosthetic, just like that. I'm not going to overdo it because I know it's going to grab right away.
