Orchestra Preparation Beat on Three Count

Now, I am going to show you a prep beat to come in on, for the ensemble to come in on - beat three. So, you will show beat two and they will come in on beat three. In a four-four pattern, beat two is over here. So, let us show beat two. Two, three, four, one, two, three, four. One more time. Here is beat two. Three, four, one, two, three, four. Sometimes it is good to sniff, too, on the entrance. For them to come in on beat three on a three-four pattern, remember beat one is over here. Beat two is over here. So, you would show beat two and then come in right on beat three. Three, one, two, three. Let us try that again. Three, one, two, three.
