All right, we're talking about cell phones and business meetings. And we've already established that you really should have that thing turned off, but, if you have to leave it on, and if it rings during your business meeting or meal, this is what you do. Now, primarily you want to keep the cell phone out of sight. Even if you're expecting a call. If you're not expecting a call, always keep it out of sight. But when it rings, immediately excuse yourself from the table. Do not take the call at the table. Excuse yourself, walk away where people cannot hear you, and have your phone conversation. But you want to make sure that you keep it brief, short, and private. Don't be out there for twenty, thirty, forty, fifty minutes on the phone. But let that be the end of it, turn the phone off, put it away, out of sight.
