Politeness in Business Meal Conversation

Now, just a few other things I want to bring up when we're talking about what not to do during meal conversations, these should be pretty obvious, but you never want to finish other people's sentences. Let them shine, let them speak for themselves, let them say what they want to say. Even if you know how they're going to finish the sentences don't do it, especially if it's like your boss or something that you know really well. Another thing that is a big, big no-no, is interrupting. That's kind of a big no-no anywhere with regards to communication, but especially during a meal, during a business meeting. Let the person finish, even if you are so excited to jump in and say what you have to say don't do it, because it is rude and you don't want to be rude. The last thing, is using profanity, big no-no, even if everybody knows that you use profanity all the time, do not do it in meal conversations, or telling inappropriate jokes. Not a good thing to do at all, in any kind of business setting, as far as I'm concerned, but especially not during a meal. And I always recommend to people, if you're not funny, don't tell any kind of joke in a meal, at a business meeting. Just don't do it.
