Okay, now you have presented that great introduction and so we're going to move on to the next step. What you want to do at this point is look ahead and what I mean by look ahead is what's coming up in the time line of the party. Okay, I'm going to give this speech and then we're all going to have cake or we're all going to have presents or we're going to have presents and then we're going to have cake and then we're going to take the birthday girl or guy and throw them into the swimming pool with their clothes on. Give the audience just a little time line of what's coming up. The party planners really like that. Now, that is not a must but if it is a pretty structured party, you definitely want to throw that in. The next thing you want to do is mention something about, and I call it the party circumstances and you just want to make note of the places, the weather, something to do with the party. It would go something like this, "Wow! What a gorgeous day for such a nice out door barbecue" or "Isn't this home beautiful? Thank you the Johnson's so much for letting us have your beautiful historic home for this party". You know just mention something about the circumstances because keep in mind that while you may forget the speech tomorrow, the birthday person is going to remember forever. Alright, Let's see what's next.
