Intro to Western Swing & Sugar Push Ballroom Dancing
On behalf of Expert Village I'm Kelly Anne and I'm here with George and we will be demonstrating a advance ballroom dance technique. The first dance that we are going to show you is the west coast swing basic. The west coast swing is a partner dance, a social dance, which is dance to country western music, rock, blues, anything from the 80s. The first step in advance ballroom dancing for west coast swing is called the sugar push and the rhythm for it is 1,2,3 and 4, 5 and 6 and it looks like this. 1,2,3 and 4, 5 and 6. 1,2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6. 1,2,3 and 4, 5 and 6.
