Logos Designing with Vector Tools

In this clip I am going to explain the benefits of using vector tools to design your company logo. Vector Illustration programs such as Adobe Illustrator is well suited for logo design. Now Illustrator is a registered trademark of Adobe and I am in no way affiliated with Adobe. Vector images are comprised of geometrical elements such as points, lines, curves, and polygons which are all based upon mathematical equations. And that may sound complicated, but the most important thing is that vector graphics are resolution independent. And what that means is your logo design can be enlarged or reduced in size and still retain its sharp edges. Your finished logo will look great whether it is printed on a business card, the side of a company vehicle, or even something larger. Now this is not the case with a rastorized or pixilized image which it tends to get soft and blurry when enlarged which is very undesirable. Using a vector design program we are able to layer our company logo which makes it much easier to work with multiple elements. Spot colors are often added to the second layer which helps us to isolate them for editing. With a vector design program we are also easily able to experiment with elements such as gradients, drop shadows, borders, and fills. That concludes are look at using vector tools to design our company logo.
