Logo Design Inspiration Tips

In this clip we are going to begin the process of designing a company logo. For this task we will be using Adobe Illustrator for its useful layout capabilities. Now Illustrator is a registered trademark of Adobe and I am in no way affiliated with Adobe. For our project a business needs a logo that conveys their many multi-media services in one simple, distinctive design that can be used on a variety of marketing materials. Since the company works primarily with visual media we will use a stylized eye as the focal point of the logo. And just to the right of the eye we are going to place the companies name in a bold custom logo type. By utilizing our own font design we will be assured that our company's logo will be unique. And below the main text we will add the rest of the company's name using a smaller complementary type face. So what we now have is a combination of a strong logo, in our case the distinctive eye, and the company's custom logo type which combine to create a strong single design that can be used effectively in a variety of applications. That concludes our look at the ideas and images that inspire your logo design.
