Hi, I'm Emily Larew. And we're continuing on with some tricky tap footwork. So what I'm going to have you do now, is we're going to do a pickup landing one ball, one heel and ending with a ball. So we're going to actually have one, two, three, four, five sounds. I'm going to show what those five sounds look like. So turning to your bar to kind of start you off. Again, you have to make sure you start with a plie. Wave hello with your toes. Yes, it's going to be a really small movement, but I promise it's going to help you in the long run. OK? What you're going to do is you're going to plie, push off, brush, brush, ball, heel. And then all you're going to do is drop that left foot ball down. And make sure you use your plie so you get that loud sound. Bam. Alright? So try it again. We have a plie', da-da-da-da, da. Alright? Again. Good. And it should sound just like a little ripple. Ripple through the water. Alright. So make sure you get all those four sounds in before you drop your fifth one on the ball of your feet. When you're ready, you're just going to keep your weight forward, press your booty back into your heels, and then you're going to push on your plie. And that's how you do your pickups on the ball, heel with an added ball.
