Peak Pro is a registered trademark of Bias Incorporated and I am in no way affiliated with Bias Incorporated. In this lesson I'm going to teach you how to create a new document in Peak Pro. And when you first start up Peak Pro you're going to see a screen that looks something like this. It's going to prompt you to open a file, if you've got a file that you want to work with already, you can go ahead and open that up, and in a lot of cases you're just going to want to create a new document. So I'd just go ahead and click on the cancel button here. If you go up to file and come down to new, it's going to ask you if you want to create a mono or stereo document, if you create a mono document, you're just going to have one channel, and you're going to hear that channel through both your left and right headphones or speakers. But in most cases you're going to want a stereo document so I'm going to go ahead and click there. I'm just going to create a project for me. And down here in the bottom left it's created this project at forty-four point one kilohertz, and it's in sixteen bit stereo. Most cases this is going to be suitable, but if you want to change that, you can just click here and come in and manually change that. If you want a twenty-two fifty you can come in and put that in. And there's a couple of other things you can change and mess around with, but I'm going to go ahead and click okay and you'll see down here at the bottom left it goes ahead and changes that for me. So that's how you create a new project and set it up the way you want it in Peak Pro.
