Ok now we're going to show you a partiflex wrist lock from the outside position. There's several ways to get into it. We're going to first discuss the simplest way. She throws a punch, you block and grab, again throwing your strike in there. With this grab here all you need to do is once you strike you come up underneath and strike or you can just come underneath and bend the arm. As you bend the arm you slide your body nice and tight and just roll the wrist around so where you have your fingers on the back, your thumb in the palm. You press it up against your body and actually flex the wrist inward. So from right there you can actually have a control with somebody or you can go ahead and break the wrist. So she throws a technique, come in and just really quickly throw a strike upwards or against the arm, preferably upwards because it helps bend the arm into it, but not necessary. Bam. Right there. So it comes in, you can press it up against the body, you could press it up against your arms, whatever fits, so just make sure you have good control. Now the other way of executing a partiflex which is a little bit more of the traditional way that I learned is from the arm bar that we practiced before. So she throws a punch, you block, you go for your arm bar, set it possibly breaking the arm, or just setting a good control, you grab the hand, take your left hand, place it into the thumb, you take your right hand, strike. Allow her fingers to roll towards her own body ok. So their, their fingers are going to roll towards their body and then you just press it up. So instead of actually executing a partiflex with your right hand on theirs, your left hand is now on. Also, you have the thumb here. You put thumbs together. So at the same time that you're pressing the wrist in you can actually take and pull the thumb back. So at the same time you'll be getting a wrist lock and somewhat of a lock on your thumb too. So, this is very quick. The first technique is probably the best because it's a whole lot simpler. Real quick just demonstrate it. Block. Strike. Up. Roll in and it's right there ok. So that is a partiflex technique. That's two ways of putting it in from an outside position.
