This segment is about ring sizes and color of material, or material that your engagement ring or ring is going to be made out of. When you try to determine a ring size, there's an old adage about size of shoe being the same size as one's finger. That doesn't always apply, but it is an old rule and it may give you a start if things are fairly normal. You need to ascertain (if this is a surprise), you need to ascertain at some point, a finger size so you can be relatively safe. If a ring is too large, you're still a hero. If it is too small, it is the Cinderella trick. You don't want to put a small ring on your fiance. She's going to be embarrassed and so are you. Make sure that it's either the right fit, which is desirable, or at least a little bit too big that can be sized down by any competent jeweler or perhaps the jeweler where you bought it. They will size it down to the correct size. The correct size then can only be determined by presenting your fiance or loved one for this particular event. It is always optimal to have the hand before you that you are going to size a ring to fit.
