Measuring Dough for a Gingerbread House

I'm going to show you how to make a gingerbread house. Now you need a ruler, you need to measure your dough to see how big a piece you've got and then you can judge the size it is. It's about fifteen centimeters by fifteen. So, okay, now you will need four rectangles that are the same size. So, you measure four, eight, twelve and need another four centimeters here, and now, you need to do exactly the same on the other side. So, let's draw a line, let's measure it. So, I need four, eight, twelve, and another four here. Okay, it's just the edge, and now I'm going to draw the line. Okay, so you can do it together with your children because it will help them to develop how to measure and then also, they can draw straight lines here, so they will be part of this fun, and they can use, they don't need to use a sharp knife, so they should use probably a blunt knife or maybe a toothpick, or anything that is not sharp and depending on their age. Okay, so this is going to be the basic, and now, I'm going to make the lines a little bit stronger so that I can cut out these pieces. Okay, cut the other side, you can do it without a ruler but, it's much nicer if you do it with the ruler then you have exact measurements.
