Now I want to talk a little bit more about attachments. We've talked about lengthy attachments but let?s talk about short attachments. Sometimes, you don't even need to do it as an attachment. If what the information is that you're going to try and send or that you're sending is brief then cut and paste it into the actual email. That makes it easier for your reader, they don't have to open something up. It's also real important that you send virus free attachments. That's the last thing you want is to send a virus to someone and then all of a sudden the entire company is infected. Here's the big one and this is the gets me way too many times, make sure you attach the attachment. Sometimes you get so caught up in you know, I'm making my list of attachments, I'm going to send this attachment, I've gotten this attachment approved, and I forget to send the attachment. Then they have to send back to you and say "hey hey, you said you said you were going to send the attachment", so don't be forgetting that, that's important.
