Now something else about subject lines. We've already established that we're going to put something truthful and something specific about what our email contents are. It's also very very important, and a lot of people don't know this, they don't do this, but if you're going to be going back and forth with someone with this email, maybe ten, fifteen, even twenty times, it is very important that you change that subject line. It's real easy to just jump back into that same email and fire it back and forth, back and forth, back and forth but whenever the subject changes again you want to change that subject line again. Maybe we started out "Need to call to verify information" and we talk about that maybe back and forth one or two times. Then it becomes, we need to talk about scheduling, then we need to change that subject title "Need to talk about scheduling". So make sure that your subject title stays appropriate to whatever the content of the email is as you're going back and forth with someone.
