So in this clip we're going to be talking about how to ride a six foot unicycle and of course, starting out to ride the six foot unicycle you've got to learn how to get up there. So to start out with a six foot unicycle it's good to have a car or something you can stand on that'll get you up higher that you can hold onto. This is a perfect car because it's got a rack on top. I'm just going to hold onto the rack. Same thing with starting out, getting onto the unicycle. It's going to be a little bit more exaggerated, the pedal backwards, because I really want that wheel to come pretty far underneath me. So I'm stepping on that. I'm putting most of my weight on the car right now, and just rocking the pedal up underneath me. So you're holding on, you're holding onto the car, you're holding onto whatever, the wall, and you want to just idle back and forth and get comfortable to being up high. This is really freaky at first and it seems like you're just going to fall, free fall, and knock out some teeth, but if you can ride a unicycle, a small one and be comfortable with that, it's the same thing as this. You've just got to take that leap of faith, let go of that car and go for it. So after I've idled for a while I get comfortable with it. Maybe I've said a couple prayers. I'm just going to let go of the car, lean forward and keep pedaling. And it's a little bit slower reaction with the chain, but you'll get the hang of it. So I'm leaning out a little bit more over the unicycle, getting ready and go for it. Keep your hands out to stabilize you. I like to look at the ground when I start out. I think it helps me keep balance. You might want to experiment with that and see if looking up helps you more. It might freak you out to look at the ground. But I just keep my hands out, you're just going slow. Now the question is, how are you going to get down? You're going to start idling like this, same thing as a regular unicycle. You're just idling back and forth and I'm going to drop straight down in front of the unicycle. You can go behind too, that kind of freaks me out though, so I just grab the seat behind me, make sure it doesn't slam into the ground and you're done.
