We’ve got some grilled vegetables here, and we’ve got some good lines on the first side. They’re actually sitting on the second side now. I brushed these down with a tiny bit of butter and some garlic salt, and there’s some onion in here and some beer as well. I can touch these and tell that they’re still a little bit firm. You don’t want to cook these things till they get completely tender, because then they’ll start to break apart and break down. And when they do that they’ll start to stick to your grill and they’re real hard to get off of there. Usually with grilled vegetables what you’re trying to do id get some good marks on them, but you want to retain all the vitamins and everything on the inside. We got some good lines on this eggplant, we’ve got a nice color on it. So that’s done. These bell pepper rings turned out real nice as you can see. We’ve got some char marks on there. Again, you can tell that there’s still a sheen to them which is good. You want to have them kind of shiny so we know we don’t overcook them. We’re going to go ahead and pull these off and eat them along with our salmon.
