Seeds in Vegetarian Diets

This clip is about seeds. Seeds are really interesting and also they're very, very energetic form of protein. Sunflower seeds eat a handful of sunflower seeds, you'll suddenly have the energy to get up and go do something. Interesting enough, I worked at an immune system clinic in San Diego many years ago, and the lady that was the doctor there believed in mixing sunflower seeds, raw pumpkin seeds and raw cashews. And she thought that that was the purest snack that you could possibly eat. So in the seed category you have pumpkin seeds, either whole or non-whole, sunflower seeds, either whole or non-whole. You have sesame seeds, a great form of protein. Take your sesame seeds and sprinkle them over your food for a crust. Your wheat germ might fit into that, but I don't know. Seeds are fantastic. They're really good for you. They're better for you when they're not toasted. They're also better for you when they're not mixed with olive oil or something of that. Just learn to eat the raw seeds. They have a great flavor and they're incredibly good for you.
