Alex Thank you for your video clips I have been dancing for 6 years and still lacked styling that was clean even though I could fake it pretty good Your video clips have taken me to the next level You do a great job of breaking down the mechanics of movement I appreciate your willingness to openly share your gifts with the world When I come to Miami I will look you up I want to see you and your group live Thanks

The Circle Turn Move in Afro-Cuban Dancing

On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Alex Ruiz from Miami Beach, Florida with Salsa Mia dance studio, and today we’re going to teach you Afro-Cuban music. Okay, so now what I’m going to teach you guys, I’m going to teach you guys how to do simple turns anytime you do Afro-Cuban. Now, you have two videos where you can practice this. We have a slow one and a fast one. Make sure you practice this with the slower. Now, if you’re doing your basic and you decide to do a turn. What you’re going to do is side, side, side, and side. When you do this, go back. Now, you might also do this with your right foot. You might go side, side, side, side. What you want to do every time you do side….Side and hip is like 1, 2, and 3. Any time you rotate it, make sure that you step and then your hips rotate to the left. Side, side, side, and side. On behalf of expertvillage.com, thank you for watching.
