On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Alex Ruiz from Miami Beach, Florida with Salsa Mia dance studio, and today we’re going to teach you Afro-Cuban music. Okay, so now what we’re going to do is combine everything we’ve done. Now, this takes a lot of practice. You’re body needs to adjust to this. So if you don’t get it within the first 10 times you do it, don’t worry about it. Practice makes perfect. Now, as you can see, I’m not wearing any shoes. Any time you do Afro-Cuban, usually you don’t dance with shoes because most of the people like to do this on the beach or on the water. So now the way we’re going to put this together is you’re going to start here. Now, you want to combine our shoulders, our chest, our hips. From the waist up: our head’s facing down like I told you and side. We’re going to put that all together as one. Also remember, if your body is going to the left, your right arm is going up. If your body goes to the right, your left arm is going up.
