Adding Arm & Shoulder Movements Into Afro-Cuban Dancing

On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Alex Ruiz from Miami Beach, Florida with Salsa Mia dance studio, and today we’re going to teach you Afro-Cuban music. Alright, so let’s continue to where we left. Like I told you, when you start you keep your hands in this position. Now, as you go on with the song, your body is now going to go opposite direction. If my left shoulder is going to the left, I’m going to snap my right arm to the opposite side. I’m going to go 1, and 2, and 3, and 4. I want you to see as I do a snap. It’s a snap. We’re going to 1, and 2, and 3, and 4. Notice how my shoulders go along with my body, but I don’t take my head along. You want to make sure that your head is always in the center leaning forward with you knees bent a little bit. Let me go over that again. 1, 2, 3, and 4.
