Using a Flush Cut Bit: Woodworking With a Fixed Base Power Router

Hi! This is Jon on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this video clip, I will be showing you a cut using a flush cut router bit. If you take a look at this blade, you’ll notice that it has a straight blade with a bearing on the end. The bearing will ride along one piece of stock, and the blade will cut another piece of stock to the point where the bearing hits on the first piece. If you take a look at these two pieces of wood, you’ll notice my first piece is sitting below my second piece. What I’m going to do is take my flush cut router bit and router that higher piece flush with the first piece.
