Measuring Memory Wire for Beaded Bracelets

Hi. I'm Hydra, with Expertvillage.com. And I'm going to show you how to make bracelets and necklaces that don't require any clasps. This is stretchy cord, and you can make them any size you want. And this is memory wire. You can go around once, or you can go around several times. And these are great for children, so they don't have a difficulty taking them on and off. With memory wire, it comes in a long piece, like this. And you want to let it go all the way around your wrist and leave a little bit of room, maybe an inch or half inch on the ends. Use heavy-duty wire cutters. Clip it. And the first thing you want to do is use your needle-nose pliers, and bend a circle or a square on the end of the wire, like that. Then you can start beading at the other end. Some people like to pick the beads up, like this. And sometimes it's easier just to use it like a needle.
