Digital Performer is a product of the Mark of the Unicorn company and I am in no way associated with Mark of the Unicorn. On this next tutorial, we'll be discussing our MIDI data within, like, a bass line or any type of a rhythm pattern. And I basically utilized the bass instrument because the bass has a good hook and groove with the drums and so it's something that we can pretty much focus in on in this situation. All right? Check this out. Okay, here's the bass line that I just set up in this session. I set up a MIDI bass line and I set up a virtual track with a plug-in on it - which is right here, "String Studio", which has basses on it. Okay, this here is the MIDI data for the bass track. We'll go ahead and have a listen to it. You can pretty much set up your bass tracks where ever you like. Have this throw a rhythm and groove in here. Like this MIDI data here is controlling your virtual instrument. And that's basically how it's done.
