What to Expect From a Swedish Massage

Hi! Welcome back! It’s Tunisia Woods again, representing Hello Beautiful Mobile Massage Therapy Group for Expert Village. Now, I’m going to tell you what to expect when receiving a Swedish massage. The first thing is you always want to dress comfortably, because you’re going to have to undress. Now, a lot of people, a lot of massage therapists will tell you to undress to your comfort level. Now, what that means is…For the best massage, to me, you should at least undress just to your undergarments. For women, the massage therapists may tell you to remove your bra, just because we want to get to the entire back. Secondly, expect to answer some medical questions such as “are you currently pregnant,” because pregnant women have a specific massage that they should receive. So make sure that you kind of know that you are or are not pregnant, just so the massage therapist can do everything to help you in your relaxation process. Another thing that you should expect is for relaxation, so know where you hold your tension. Sometimes we live in this stressful world that we are living, in pain. Sometimes if you feel a crook in your neck or feel low back pain, make sure you tell your massage therapist, because then they can work on those specific areas. That is what you need to expect when you go for a massage. Thank you!
