Hi, Robert Stewart here, with hill13.com. If you put your tanks in your bag, and you head off to the paintball field, if you're not carrying a cap on the top of your tank, you may be really disappointed when you get there, and you'll have to rent some tanks. The reason being is the top of your CO2 bottle is brass. You want to make sure that you keep caps for your tanks, so that you can protect the threads, and that they don't get messed up, and start to provide an inadequate seal. Also, it pays to keep extra o-rings inside your gear bag. The o-ring is a small rubber ring you see at the top of the tank head. That that ensures that you get an adequate seal between the tank, and the weapon, and you don't lose your CO2. If you do that every time you play, your tanks will last twice as long. You also have a burst disk on the side. You can buy burst disk replacement parts even at a Wal-Mart, or other department store, and these are relatively simple to replace, and do not require taking it to a Pro Shop, and paying to have someone to replace it. If you know you have a good o-ring, you know you have a good burst disk valve, and the tank is still not functioning probably properly, it's probably time to get a new tank.
