Hello I'm Richard on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm going to try to explain the different fouls during the game of 9 ball. When your player commits a foul during a game of 9 ball he must relinquish his turn at the table at the time. No balls are respotted it except for the nine ball if it happened to be pocketed during the event during the fall itself. The incoming player has a cue ball in hand meaning the he get the cue ball places it anywhere on the table. Where ever he want to start his turn. But if a foul is committed all balls most be called and acknowledge before the next shot is taken. If a shot is taking it would be as if no fall ever existed. Also I want to add if it was more then one fall and it happen during the shot it would only be as if one fall occurred.
