What is a Legal Break in Nine Ball Pool?
Hello I'm Richard on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm here to talk to you about what constitutes a legal break in the game of 9 ball. We got the rack balls, we already gone over the breaking, the one ball most be the first ball contacted. For the break to be legal one or two things most happen either a object ball most be pocketed or four balls must be driven to the rail. Not doing so not driving four balls to the rail would constitute in a fall. A fall on the break would give your opponent your ball in hand anywhere on the table excepting the table were it lays or the opponent may require my request a reracked and the opponent have the option to break the balls himself. Other falls that can happen on the break are if the cue ball is pocketed the cue ball is pocket or if the cue ball is knocked of the table, or any object ball is knocked of the table that is a fall. Also table means that the ball comes to rest anywhere but on the bed on the table, balls be bouncing around, land on the table that is all good. Another thing that is all good on a break is if the nine ball goes. Nine ball goes and the break it is not equip provided that the cue ball stays on the table. If the nine ball is pocket and the cue ball is pocket the nine ball were we spoon the spot it is not win or a lose but the nine balls comes back up the spot, cue ball moves. Cue ball ...your opponent. The nine ball is the only ball in the game of nine ball that would be respotted any other object balls that are pocketed through the fall they remain pocket.
