Yes, No, Thank-You & Common Expressions in German

While traveling in Germany you may want to know some expressions that are very common, just like the basic words. “Ja” means yes. Once again “Ja” “Nein” means no, once again “Nein” If you want to express that you like something or you don’t like something you would say “Das gefallt mir” In English, I like this. Once again in German “Das gefalt mir.” If you would want to say I don’t like something you would say “Das gefalt mir nicht.” I don’t like this. Once again in German,” Das gefalt mir nicht.” If you would want to tell someone that your German is not good yet you would say “Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut. Konnen Sie bitte English Sprechen?” My German is not good could you please speak English. Once again in German, “Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut. Konnen Sie bitte English Sprechen?” If you would want to tell somebody that you don’t speak German at all, you can tell them “Ich spreche kein Deutsch. Bitte sprechen Sie English?” I don’t speak German, could you please speak English? Once again in German, “Ich spreche kein Deutsch. Bitte sprechen Sie English?”
