Making a Custom T-Shirt for Creating 3D Characters in iClone

On behalf of expertvillage.com this is Paul Louis and I’d like to welcome you to how to create a 3D animated character in the program known as iClone, enjoy. Alright now it looks okay here but I want to change his shirt and change his pants, I want to give him ripped jeans and I want to give him a black t-shirt maybe with some kind of skull or something on the t-shirt. Okay so let’s go back up here to tools we’re going to click on upper body, modify and go over here to map setting and click on the defuse section click on launch, it’s going to open up your photo editing program in this case Photoshop and there’s the white t-shirt texture. I’m going to go up here to file and you’re going to look for maybe another jpeg file that you’ve worked on as far as texturing new texturing and I’m going to bring in, in my textures folder I have something called black t, as you can see it’s another template and I used the white one as a reference to make this new one and all I did was I just put a little skull and cross bones on a black t-shirt so we have that here, we’re going to save the copy in our documents iClone temp, iClone upper texture we’re going to save it, it’s going to ask you if you want to save it, you say yes keep clicking all the way through then go back to iClone and click on update and wah-la brand new t-shirt.
