Tangram Block Puzzles

In this clip we're going to examine another tricky puzzle type. The block. For this example let's look at this particular pattern. It doesn't really give you very many clues. Because as I said it's just a block. The only clue we really have is that there are ornaments at the top and the bottom of the puzzle. Let's put our big triangles in those ornaments because they look like they might fit there. One at the top, one at the bottom. So we have five pieces remaining and two more halves to fill as you can see. Go ahead and put the square and two triangles together to form a sort of pedestal like shape. And place it between. OK, now it seems like we are getting somewhere. Take your medium triangle and your parallelogram and make them exactly like the other combination you've made. Side of the medium triangle going up against the longer side of the parallelogram. Place that in the gap. Now the puzzle is solved. That was all it took.
