The Tangoes Tangram Game

There is a lot of different tangram sets that you can buy. I happen to like the game Tangoes produced by Rex Games. What's nice about this particular set of tangrams is that you get two sets of tangrams and a deck of cards with patterns on them to create. This makes it easy to have competitive play. Also, they come in a compact case. The rules of competitive play of Tangoes are as follows. Take a card and place it in the stand. Now each player tries to create the shape on the card as quickly as possible. There is no timer involved it's whomever gets it first. If they're able to get the shape first they get to take the card and put it in their pile and you move on to the next pattern. Either play through the whole deck or have a predetermined number of cards until someone wins. A lot of game stores carry Tangoes, but if you want you can just go online, type in Tangoes into Google and you'll come to their official web page. They have lots of different sets including ones for kids, in different colors, deluxe sets, pick the one you want and go ahead and order it, and now you've got a set of Tangoes too.
